vm_tools: Add feature flags for termina When we make changes to packages inside Termina they don't take affect until we uprev Termina (currently happens weekly'ish) and beyond compilation and unit tests, changes aren't tested by the CQ until we have a pin uprev CL (again, weekly'ish). This means that if something is broken we don't find out for a week, then whoever's performing the uprev has to look through a week's worth of changes, try and figure out which is to blame, revert it, then start again from the beginning. This costs us O(days) of calendar time per attempt. With these CLs we now have feature flags. Land your change to Tremplin/maitre'd/whatever behind a flag, wait for the uprev, then enable the flag. Now enabling the feature happens with a host CL so it gets tested individually on the CQ. BUG=none TEST=Manual, add a flag and check it's piped all the way through maitre'd and tremplin Cq-Depend: chromium:2325341 Change-Id: I205480ea04a02b8a140fcda1746efcf3b1616111 Reviewed-on: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromiumos/platform2/+/2324097 Reviewed-by: Nicholas Verne <nverne@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Fergus Dall <sidereal@google.com> Commit-Queue: David Munro <davidmunro@google.com> Tested-by: David Munro <davidmunro@google.com>
This repo holds (most) of the custom code that makes up the Chromium OS platform. That largely covers daemons, programs, and libraries that were written specifically for Chromium OS.
We moved from multiple separate repos in platform/ to a single repo in platform2/ for a number of reasons:
While most projects were merged, not all of them were. Some projects were standalone already (such as vboot), or never got around to being folded in (such as imageloader). Some day those extra projects might get merged in.
Similarly, some projects that were merged in, were then merged back out. This was due to the evolution of the Brillo project and collaboration with Android. That means the AOSP repos are the upstream and Chromium OS carries copies.
